Between us, Vidya and Anand share our home with six dogs, and we look after two more who live with us on the farm. Every wagging tail, every muddy paw print, every 6 AM wake-up call has taught us something about what dogs actually need to feel safe, happy, and free. Scentral Park was born from our slightly obsessive love for dogs.
By day, we're both in IT, juggling day jobs like everyone else. We put our free time and the money into this — because we believe dogs deserve a place that's actually built around them.
Along the way, we needed someone who could turn passion into daily reality — someone to actually run the place, day in and day out. That's Devisri, a canine behaviorist for a decade now and our Managing Partner.
Devisri didn't just come in to manage operations. She came in with ideas and a vision for what a sensory garden could be — how dogs could explore, sniff, and experience the space in ways that mattered to them.

That's the whole secret, hiding in plain sight — because for a dog, scent is the world. It's how they read a room, remember a friend, fall in love with a patch of grass for absolutely no reason a human will ever understand. We didn't want a park that just looked good. We wanted one that smelled like an adventure, sniff by sniff, corner by corner. So the name had to carry that in it — not just a park, a scentral park.
And there's a little wink to Central Perk in there too. That scruffy, sofa-shaped coffee house where everybody just... showed up. Just friends being friends. That's the feeling we wanted Scentral Park to have — except swap the coffee mugs for water bowls, and the sofa for a sunny patch of grass or sand. A place where dogs come together the way old friends do. Where tails do the talking. Where "how YOU doin'?" is just a good long sniff hello.
So really, Scentral Park is two ideas wearing one name: a park built entirely around scent — the sense dogs live and love by — and a gathering place built entirely around friendship, the way dogs (and honestly, their humans too) do it best.
